CHALLENGE STARS!
CHALLENGE & OTHER STARS
Green Stars are for completing a 30-day challenge.
For 30 straight days, you might drink 1/3 of your body weight (in ounces) of water. You might do an Act of Kindness every day, practice every day, exercise every day. It's about accepting a challenge, being consistent, and not missing a day. The challenges will rotate each Testing Cycle.
Other challenges include reading books and Academic Achievement. You can only do one Green Star Challenge at a time, but you can do as many of the others at the same time as you want. (And the Blue and Gold stars do not have a specified time limit.)
GREEN STAR CHALLENGES!
Karate is all about accepting challenges and conquering them. Karate kids are building Indomitable Spirt - becoming unstoppable!
Challenge Stars are Green Stars. To earn a Challenge Star, a student must accept a challenge (like drink water, break a bad habit, or exercise), do it for 30 days, keep track of their progress and turn their Challenge form - the record of their effort - in to the studio.
When you see a student with Green Stars, you know that student is someone who has the confidence to accept challenges and the skills to complete them!
